Dire Dawa Administration: Plans to Plant 500,000 Forest and Agro-Fursery Seedlings in One Day Activities in progress
Out of the planned 500,000 seedlings, 50% (250,000) will be planted in 9 kebeles and institutions in urban areas. The administration is planning to plant fruit and agroforestation as well as 4% (20,000) beauty seedlings, according to the administration’s green fingerprint technical committee.
Accordingly, 130,000 seedlings have been selected in 9 urban kebeles of the administration, as well as 71,095 seedlings in rural kebeles in all four clusters, 84,946 seedlings in Wahil cluster, 41,000 in Jeldesa cluster and 53,000 seedlings in Aseliso cluster.
