In Wolayita Sodo, a mother gave birth to four children in peace

At Wolayita Sodo University Otona Teaching and Referral Hospital, a mother gave birth to four children safely.

She is is called Mrs. Worknesh Berhanu; She is a resident of Woshiwocha Dakaya Kebele in Wolayita Zone, Ofa Woreda.

She said she soon realized that she was carrying more than two babies. She says she has four children and is happy to be free.

Maternal obstetrics and gynecology at Wolayita Sodo University Otona Teaching and Referral Hospital were monitoring the situation closely.

Experts who have been monitoring her prenatal care say that the mother came to her facility at 4:00 pm on Monday, January 25.

This is the first case at the hospital, said Dr. Belaw Shote, a gynecologist.

Three of the four children are boys and the fourth is a girl.

The first of the newborn babies died 16 hours after birth, but the remaining three and the maternity ward are still in good health.
