This conference, which brings Africans home, is of special significance to Ethiopia and to our city, Addis Ababa.

Given the internal and external struggle of our country, Ethiopia, the conference is a beacon of goodwill and victory for Ethiopia.

In the face of great diplomatic efforts, our African brothers and sisters have shown their support by deciding to hold the conference. It is a testament to their respect and friendship for our country.
