Preparations have been made for the annual celebration of the Adadi and Abma Mariam Queen’s Day.

Debre Markos City Administration is one of the colorful religious festivals celebrated every year at the Tsarha Zion Abma Mariam Cathedral Church on November 21.

Deputy Commander Getnet Mesfin, head of the 1st Police Station, told Bisrat Radio that discussions were held with the security forces and other stakeholders to make the event a peaceful one.

He said more than 50,000 people were present at the event and that the public should report any suspicious activity to the local police.
