Ethio Telecom Launches 4GLT Advanced Service in Debre Berhan.
Ethio Telecom has launched its fourth generation 4G LT Advanced service in Debre Berhan, Central North Region, in the presence of the company’s CEO, Frehiwot Tamiru, and the city’s mayor, Desta Andarge.
Eight towns have been launched in Debre Berhan, with eight towns: Debre Berhan, Fiche, Shewarobit, Sululta, Sheno, Sendafa, Gebre Guracha and Gatafo benefiting from the service.
So far, 86 towns in 15 regions, including Addis Ababa, have been able to benefit from the 4GLT Advanced service, Bisrat Radio heard from Frehiwot, CEO of the company.
The service is up to 14 times faster than before; He also said that network expansion projects are underway to increase the coverage and capacity of the region.
It is planned to provide a total of 103 cities to benefit from 4GLTE Advanced Services. So far, 86 services have been launched.
Ethio-Telecom has also launched a new telecom business. It plans to generate 3.5 trillion birr in five years.
The Ministry of Health announced that 1,500 health facilities have been built in the last three years
Health Minister Dr. Leah Tadesse said 1,500 health facilities have been built in Ethiopia in the past three years.
He said the health facilities were built at a cost of 9.4 billion birr.
Officials from the ministry visited health facilities that are under construction, under construction and undergoing renovation in Addis Ababa.
Dr. Leah said work is underway to build a health facility that is comfortable for the user and the service provider and to provide quality and efficient services to the community.
Bisrat Radio said it has upgraded 157 health centers, renovated 67 health centers and built 100 health posts.
Dr. Leah also said that the expansion of St. Paul’s, Alert and Black Lion hospitals is well underway.
