This year’s polio immunization campaign, which will benefit more than 17 million children, was officially launched in the presence of Dr. Dereje Duguma, State Minister of Health of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

The National Polio Vaccination Campaign has officially started in Dilla town of Gedo Zone in the presence of Dr. Dereje Duguma, State Minister of Health of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Duguma, State Minister of Health of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, said at the time that he would work hard to protect the public health system.

According to Dr. Dereje, more than 17 million children will be vaccinated against polio during the door-to-door polio vaccination campaign nationwide.

According to Dr. Dereje Duguma, various experts are preparing to launch a national polio vaccination campaign for children under the age of five.
