Wolayita Development Association’s 20-year development plan launching program was held at Addis Ababa City Friendship Square.

According to Adanech Abebe, Wolayita Development Association has prepared a site for the construction of a cultural center in Addis Ababa.
Wolayita Zone Chief Administrator, Dr. Andreas Geta, on his part said the association has completed its third plan and has prepared an eight billion birr development plan that will be implemented in the next 20 years.
He said the plan will focus on human resource development, education expansion and Wolayita culture and language development over the next 20 years.
The program was attended by Deputy Mayor Adanech Abebe, Minister of Higher Education Dr. Samuel Erkato, Wolayita Zone Chief Administrator Dr. Andrias Geta and other senior leaders as well as natives and invited guests from Addis Ababa.
