A free medical service benefiting 5 thousand citizens living on the streets was started in Harari region
A free medical and examination service that will benefit 5 thousand citizens living on the streets and vulnerable sections of the society has been started in Hariri region.
In the region, the free medical and diagnostic service provided under the guiding principle of “Virtue for our health” was launched by the head of the state, Mr. Ordin Bedri.
He said that when the head of government launched free medical and diagnostic services, various voluntary services were being provided in the region, especially recently, which benefited the citizens of low living standards.
The free medical service is provided by volunteer health professionals and the service is provided by 16 government and selected private health institutions in the region, he said.
According to information from the Harare Region Communications Bureau, they have stated that citizens who need more treatment and examination will be sent to higher health facilities to get the service.
The head of government called on the people of the region to benefit from the services provided from August 16 to 21, 2014.
