Various senior government officials have sent congratulatory messages on the start of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
In a message delivered by Mayor Adanech Abebe, the people of our city, the entire Ethiopian people and all Ethiopian friends are happy that the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam has begun to shine today.
He said Guba, where the Renaissance Dam is located, is the land of light for Ethiopia and Africa.
In his congratulatory message to the people of Harari, Ordin said, “It is a sign that Ethiopians are entering a new era of light and history.”
He said the new chapter in history and the flash of light show that the future of Ethiopia is stronger than the current crisis.
He thanked all Ethiopians, especially those living in the region, for their contribution and support since the construction of the dam began.
Similarly, the Chief Executive of the Southern Nations, Nationalities and People’s Region, Erstu Yirda conveyed his congratulatory message to the people of our country and the region regarding the generation of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
He said the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is an African light tower built by the people of our country.
Minister of Urban and Infrastructure Khaltu Sani on his part said ÷ Today is a day of victory and glory. He said the Renaissance Dam shows that there is no power that will prevent us Ethiopians from achieving our goals and vision.
