Mayor Adanech Abebe handed over renovated houses to vulnerable residents through the Addis Ababa Transport Bureau.
Addis Ababa City Mayor, Adanech Abebe, handed over the renovated houses in Gulele sub-city during the winter months through the Transport Bureau and its affiliated institutions.
During the handover, Mayor Adanech Abebe said over the past few months, they have renovated more than 2,000 houses, raised orphans, mobilized support for the Defense Forces and carried out various activities.
He said helping and assisting is a part of Ethiopian culture.
Today, the mayor promised to donate 1,000 birr a month to the renovated house, and other volunteers called on them to help those in need.
