Ethiopia’s growing population is said to be the 14th largest in the world.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Leah Tadesse, today celebrated World Population Day in collaboration with Consortium Ethiopia.

Health Minister Dr. Leah Tadesse, who was present at the event, said the world’s population has reached 7.8 billion.

According to Dr. Leah Tadesse, Ethiopia’s population has reached 117 million, according to the Population Reference Bureau.

It is stated that it shows.

If Ethiopia’s population continues in this way, it is expected to reach 160 million by 2035.

The Director of Communication at the Ethiopian Population and Environmental Protection Agency, Fraser Yeyes, told Ethio FM that a new national policy is out of date.

Ms. Fraser told Ethio FM that the day is designed to inform that the demographic issue is not just a matter of one office and that the participation of all stakeholders is needed and to raise public awareness.

He said the country’s population is growing second in Africa and 14th in the world due to the lack of birth rates and lack of family planning services.

Evidence suggests that Ethiopia could be one of the fastest growing countries in the world in the next 30 years.
