The Federal Technical and Vocational Institute has today graduated 1,920 undergraduate and graduate students.
Of the graduates, 1,574 have a bachelor's degree and 346 have a master's degree.
The 6th graduating class of the institute has been studying in 5 faculties.
In the coming weeks, about 1,000 students will be graduating from various branches of the institute.
The Federal Technical and Vocational Institute was officially inaugurated today at the Ethiopian Technical University.
The college was established in 1997 as the Ethio-China Polytechnic under the Addis Ababa Technical and Vocational Education and Training Agency.
It was established in 2003 as the Federal Institute of Technical and Vocational Education and Training and has graduated undergraduate and master's programs since 2005.
It will continue to be a technical university.
