“Displaced citizens vote” – Ms. BIRTUKAN MIDEKSA
Displaced people will be at the center of this year’s election and will vote, said Birtukan Mideksa.
Ms. Birtukan said the process of registering IDPs to vote in their previous constituencies, electing their own executives, and electing their own people has been completed.
According to Birtukan, the results of the election will also be added to the polling station where the IDPs are located.
The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is monitoring the data released by the IOM and the Ministry of Peace in this regard.
Ms. Birtukan Mideksa affirms that displaced people will never lose their rights.
