Your marriage or how is your love life?

At a wedding, I heard an elder stand up to bless the bride and groom and say, I have attended many weddings and have heard of such blessings. What do they mean? I kept thinking about it.

Love that flirts, flirts that stick? I thought about it over and over again.

As I was unloading and unloading it, by chance the elders had finished their blessing and came to the table where I was sitting and sat down. I said I had to ask and leaned my head against the table:

One time a sister came to me for advice. And she told me this story:

My husband and I have been married for eight years. We also had two children. We have our own house and car. We both have our own well-paying jobs. We have been married for so many years. We didn’t even have time to fight or fall in love. Our neighbors and all who know us are jealous of our marriage. They say to him, “What kind of Wife do you have?”. And they say to me “what kind of husband you have”.

I once went to Nairobi, Kenya, to see my friend and have some fun. My husband did not leave because he had a job. My friend has been married for five years. Her husband left for Kenya to work at the United Nations. I stayed at their house for a week.

At that time, I doubted that my marriage was … marriage. My friend does not call her husband by his first name. And he said. When he is tired, she washes his feet. He would wash her feet when she was tired. When they eat, they end up eating. They put the children together for everything else.

Sometimes they argue violently. When I was about to fight, they flirted for a while and fell in love again. One day my friend asked, “Have you ever had a fight?” I asked her.
