The Ministry of Revenue said it has saved more than $ 39 million due to the large number of users of a single window service
The ministry told ENA that more than 39 million USD has been saved by hosting more than 64,000 services in a single window.
He recalled that the one-window service eliminates paperwork, adding that the ministry is an electronic system that connects import and export businesses.
He said the service will create a favorable environment for e-mails to be sent to regulatory agencies in the presence of import and export businesses.
He said the number of single-window services in Ethiopia was 64,604 in the just ended budget year and 5,097 in foreign trade.
He said 39 million 475 thousand 980 US dollars has been saved from waste.
We have heard that 14 regulatory institutions as well as 51 banks and insurance companies are connected under this system.
A modern pedestrian bridge is to be built on light rail and ring roads.
Addis Ababa City Traffic Management Agency said it is in the process of constructing a modern pedestrian crossing bridge to alleviate the problem of light rail roads and ring road crossings in Addis Ababa.
Agency officials discussed the construction design and related issues of the bridges with Chinese construction company Zang Yang Zi The Sec.
Discussions were held on the construction and design of modern pedestrian bridges to be built in Gurd Shola, leading CMC and Gojjam Berenda, as well as in the new neighborhood of Hakim Mamo.
Agency Deputy Director General, Engineer Berhanu Girma, said the agency will focus on easing traffic congestion in the city and ensuring road safety.
He said the bridges have been constructed in different parts of the country and are being used in a way that is suitable for people with disabilities.
The study is said to be based on land use at the bridges, feed roads, buses and taxis, pedestrians and traffic in the area.
