Support was provided to the 200 needy residents of Kebele 06 Administration

Kebele 06 administration leaders as well as candidates running for the City Council Prosperity Party in the area raised funds from investors and business communities in the kebele on the occasion of Ramadan, the holy month of Ramadan. The forum was attended by the Deputy Mayor and Head of the Trade, Industry and Investment Bureau of the Administration, Kedir Juhar, as well as other leaders representing the Prosperity Party.

The Deputy Mayor and Head of the Trade, Industry and Investment Bureau of the Administration, Kedir Juhar, said the support will enhance the values of tolerance, support and cooperation and coexistence of the residents of Dire Dawa. He also thanked the business community and investors for their support.

Kebele 06 Chief Executive Officer, Ziad Mohammed, said the focus was on identifying vulnerable, orphaned and sick residents of the kebele who did not participate in various support frameworks, including food security. He said the support is over 300,000.00 (three hundred thousand birr) and that the support will temporarily solve the problem of those in need.

He thanked the people who supported him, saying that the support given to them in this way will help them to solve their problems temporarily. He added that similar support should be strengthened in the future.
