Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed visits Artificial Intelligence Exhibition
Addis Ababa: April 20, 2021 (FBC) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed visited a workshop and exhibition organized by the Artificial Intelligence Center.
The first Artificial Intelligence Workshop and Exhibition in Ethiopia, which opened yesterday at the Intercontinental Hotel in Addis Ababa, continues today.
Prime Minister Abiy attended the exhibition and visited the work of Artificial Intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is a technology that enables humans to think, comprehend, reason, plan, reason, learn, and communicate in a complex way.
Communication Director of the Center, Tesfaye Zewde, said Ethiopia has started the work to use the technology in health, education, agriculture, finance, transport, meteorology, aerospace and other sectors.
He said the purpose of the exhibition is to create awareness about the nature of artificial intelligence technology.
According to ENA, the participating organizations and institutions said that the government has given a lot of attention to the sector and that the support given to the private sector can be achieved if other countries reach the level.
It is stated that the center is carrying out digital data collection by establishing a national research and development center and setting standards for measurement.
