The Oromia Regional Urban Development and Housing Bureau announced that 116,429 houses have been built and completed in just six months, with concerted efforts to meet the growing demand for housing in the region.

The bureau’s deputy, Ato Berhanu Bekele, told EZA Film that the region is showing a wide range of quality services for our vulnerable people, in addition to new constructions.

The bureau confirmed that it will continue to strengthen development and service modernization efforts that will ensure the benefit of urban residents, by setting an example of modernizing cities for their residents and their families, and by strictly controlling illegal housing construction and management.
