The Ethiopian young man won the top prize that goes to the New York Film Academy

The young Ethiopian, Melkamu Haile, has won the top prize of the New York Film Academy after coming out first among the graduates of the Multichoice Africa Talent Factory Academy.

The winner of Young Good was announced at the graduation ceremony of East African film students in Nairobi, Kenya.

Multichoice Talent Factory is a one-year free training opportunity for young filmmakers; Graduates with first to third highest marks in training and practical education will be awarded with travel to New York, Bollywood and South Africa for advanced studies.

According to this, the Ethiopian Melkamu Haile will travel to New York after coming out first. Kenyan and Tanzanian graduates are said to travel to India and South Africa.

In this year’s Multichoice/DSTV Ethiopia graduation, two young Ethiopian filmmakers have also been announced.
