Mayor Adanech Abebe on his part said the ongoing development projects in Addis Ababa were witnessed by His Excellency the Prime Minister and First Lady.
“According to the Prime Minister, Dr. Abiy Ahmed, the creation of model subdivisions with human development integrated activities in one month and 20 days is underway in two sub-cities – Kirkos and Lideta,” she said.
Among the works being carried out in the two sub-cities (Kirkos and Lideta) supported by Mayor Adanech:
1. Floors consisting of 345 houses of various 11, 5 and 5 floors.
2. 20 Bakery and Vegetable Shops,
3. Model urban agriculture built on 200 sites
4. 8 bakeries,
5. 9 Sunday Markets,
6. Development of 2 sports fields
7. 4 Parks, Development
8. 5 Dining Centers,
9. 15 squares, development
10. 8 Main Ways to Decorate
Are included.
He said all the works will be completed by July and will serve the users.
He also said that the model work being carried out in the spirit of possible will be strengthened in all sub-cities.
