Lalibela and Sekota towns not receiving electricity yet due to TPLF damage

Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) has announced that it has not yet been able to access online power lines due to the destruction of infrastructure by the TPLF, which has been declared a terrorist group by the People’s Council of Lalibela and Sekota.

Ethiopian Electric Power’s Corporate Communication Bureau Director, Moges Mekonnen, told reporters that the towns were receiving electricity from Alamata Station. He explained in the statement.

He also said that the towns of Wolkait and Humera are currently receiving the same power from Tekeze power plant.
