Addis Ababa City Administration Mayor Adanech Abebe said,
Mayor Adanech made the remarks in his opening remarks at a forum on ongoing work directions.
The newly-appointed senior leaders from the center to the woreda, including Mayor Adanech Abebe, participated in the forum, which began with the theme “We are ready for a new chapter of mission”.
There are several bugs in the process of change; Mayor Adanech Abebe said all leaders must work in an organized and coordinated manner to fulfill their responsibilities to the people by overcoming these obstacles.

Trade Competition, Consumer Protection Authority and Commodity Market merged with the Ministry of Trade and Regional Relations
Minister of Trade and Regional Co-operation, Gebremeskel Chala, on his part said merging the institutions with the Ministry of Trade and Regional Co-operation is crucial for efficiency.
According to a September 2014 proclamation declaring the powers and functions of the executive branch of the federal government, the merger of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the merger of the Consumer Protection Authority and the Commodity Exchange with the Ministry of Trade and Regional Cooperation will help provide better and more efficient services.
During a meeting with the management and staff of the two institutions, the Minister said the merger of the two institutions will not create any impediment to their work and will help them to achieve better performance by providing efficient services.
According to information obtained by Bisrat Radio from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the management and staff of the two institutions have stated that they need to work diligently and collaboratively to do their job better than ever before.
