First Lady’s Office inaugurates bread and flour factory in the capital

The Office of the First Lady has inaugurated a 6,000 square meter bread and flour factory in Lemi Kura sub-city of Addis Ababa.

The bakery, which produces 1 million loaves a day, has cost 217 million birr.

The giant bakery, which will create jobs for 450 people, is said to produce 72 tons of flour a day.

Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abebe presented the first lady’s office at the inauguration ceremony of the bakery and flour factory built by the First Lady’s Office.

The First Lady’s Office is in the process of constructing a bread and flour factory to be built in ten major cities.

The factories in each of these towns will be able to produce 400 quintals of flour per day and bake 300,000 loaves of bread. (FBC)
