The $ 8.4 million Ginchi distribution station will be inaugurated on Saturday

The $ 8.4 million Ginchi distribution center will be officially inaugurated on Saturday.

Minister of Innovation and Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation, Dr. Abraham Belay, visited the Ginchi 230/15 power distribution station.

He said the distribution station will be able to provide reliable supply to Ginchi town and local forces.

The substation is equipped with two 50-megawatt ampere transformers.

It has a capacity of up to 100 MW and is said to have ten 15-kilovolt cost lines.

According to information obtained from Ethiopian Electric Power, German and Swiss companies MVV Deacon are consulting with Larson and Turbo, an Indian company.
