In a statement on the issue, Ethiopian Airlines announced that it received information indicating that Ethiopian Airlines flight number ET343, which was traveling from Sudan’s capital Khartoum to Addis Ababa, had lost contact with the air traffic control center in Addis Ababa last Monday.

He stated that the plane landed safely after communication with the air traffic control center in Addis Ababa was fixed.

In connection with the problem, the flight crew who were in the plane were temporarily suspended and an investigation is being conducted, he said.

The airline has announced that it will take appropriate action based on the results of the investigation.
