“It is important to support the technical and vocational institutions with green development and coordinate their activities and survey the profession,” said the Minister of Labor and Skills Mufrihat Kamil.
Leaders and employees of the Ministry of Labor and Skills as well as responsible institutions have conducted a green footprint program.
As Minister of Labor and Skills Mufarihat Kamil said while launching the sapling planting program held at various technical and vocational institutes, green development works have universal benefits and the results can be increased by accompanying technical and vocational training with green development.
Since the institutions have resources and a large area, they stated that accompanying their activities with green development will make their role in economic development greater.
The minister indicated that more than 2,500 saplings have been planted in four technical and vocational training colleges, and more than 3.3 million saplings will be planted in various colleges.
Information obtained from the Ministry of Labor and Skills indicates that the sapling planting program has been carried out at Ethio China Technical and Vocational Institute, General Wingate, Entoto, East Polytechnic Colleges.
