ABC inaugurates television and radio studios in Harari

Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation inaugurates television and radio studios in Harar

The graduation ceremony was attended by Harari Regional State Chief of Staff Ordin Bedri, ABC CEO Fisseha Yitgesu and other senior federal and state leaders.

It is said that the opening of the studios will enable them to bring news and programs to the audience on issues related to the local history, culture and traditions.

Ethiopian Radio’s coverage of the eastern part of the country, Harar, began in October 1965 and was discontinued in 2004.

The launch of radio in the local community language is also believed to be of great benefit to the local community.
