The young man in the picture is Dabi Bosse; He is disabled.
Dabi, a young man from Adama, who is both disabled, started a small and micro enterprise called “Dabi Bosse Woodworking Association” with a small fortune of 10,000 birr raised by his family and friends.
Undeterred by the complexities, disabilities, and poverty, this young man not only created a job but also changed his life and saved others; It currently employs 15 unemployed people and has created employment opportunities.
Dabi, a small and micro enterprise with a starting capital of 10,000 birr, has grown into a medium-sized enterprise with a total capital of 1.6 million birr.
The enterprise is one of the winners of the 12th round of micro and small scale industry transformation held in Adama today.
According to Addisu Arega, Urban Development Cluster Coordinator in the Oromia Regional State, this shows that anyone who uses their knowledge and skills to change themselves will not be affected by the disability or any difficult situation.
