Recognized and rewarded taxpayers who have properly fulfilled their tax obligations in the capital

The Addis Ababa City Administration Revenue Bureau has given recognition and awards to taxpayers who have fulfilled their tax obligations under the motto “Superior revenue for the prosperity of our city”.

Addis Ababa City Deputy Mayor, Jantar Abay, who was present at the event, said taxpayers’ loyalty, patriotism and foresight have played an important role in the success of the bureau.

Taxpayers have a lot of responsibility, he said, adding that they will accelerate the country’s development. He explained that the taxes they pay will play an irreplaceable role in the development of the government.

Addis Ababa Revenue Bureau Head, Mulugeta Tefera, on his part said it is a great achievement for the taxpayer to fulfill his responsibilities.

Under the program, taxpayers were awarded silver, gold and platinum prizes.

82 public and government projects inaugurated in Lideta sub-city today !!

The Lideta Sub-City has inaugurated 82 projects worth over 162 million birr in the presence of Mayor Adanech Abebe.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mayor Adanech Abebe said there is no small project for the public, adding that schools, especially those that are home-grown, are important.

Recalling that these projects were on the agenda of the House of Representatives, Mayor Adanech said he was pleased that we were able to keep our word.

According to Mayor Adanech, the projects are a success that we have achieved in a difficult situation, regardless of the complexity, the challenges and the challenges. It shows that he cannot stop us. The main thing is to do: “We need to listen, we need to trust,” he said.
