Mesfin Tassew has been appointed CEO of Ethiopian Airlines.

Mesfin Tassew, who was appointed CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, joined the airline in 1984.

For the past 38 years, he has held senior positions in the airline, including Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering, Information Technology, Flight Operations and Chief Operating Officer.

Mesfin was awarded a gold medal for his outstanding degree in Electrical Engineering from AUU College of Technology.
