What is the African park in our capital for the African Union?
It was in 1963 that the Organization of African Unity (OAU) was formed.
At the forefront of the formation of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), Haile Selassie I, the President of Ethiopia, the President of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta, and the President of Ghana, Kwame Kruma, formed the Organization of African Unity (OAU).
As the former Organization of African Unity (OAU) decided to relocate its current headquarters to Addis Ababa, the leaders laid their green stamps on their way between the Presidential Palace and the ECA, as well as in the space below the Grand Palace.
As the native seedlings replaced by African leaders grew into trees, the urban community began to use them as a resting place.
More than 13.5 million birr has been spent on the modern-day African-themed seedlings, which have greatly enhanced the beauty of the area beyond just providing services to the city dwellers as a shadow and shelter. The park was named the African People’s Park.
The African Public Park extends from the bottom of the Great Menelik Palace to Meskel Square and includes parts of Addis Ababa and Ethiopia.
The park is one of the leading public parks in our city where children, birthdays, and weddings are celebrated in a special way, including children’s playgrounds, cafes, colorful fountains, colorful rivers, various recreational green spaces and other services.
