The Ministry of Transport and Logistics and the Council evaluated the performance of the first six months of the 2014 fiscal year.
The Ministry of Transport and Logistics, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, regularly reviews the sector’s performance on a regular basis on behalf of the general public.
The review forum was attended by the leadership and members of the Council, including the Minister of Transport and Logistics, W / ro Dagmawit Moges, as well as the heads of the ministry’s affiliated institutions.
In her opening remarks, the Minister said the role played by the Council since its inception has been an additional capacity for the Ministry and should be strengthened in the future.
During the forum, the Ministry’s 6-month performance report for the fiscal year 2014 and the main activities of the Ministry’s Service Improvement Council were presented and discussed.
Following the reports, the forum was opened for discussion and various questions and comments were answered by the Honorable Minister and the concerned bodies.
The chairman of the council, E / R Tsedeke, said the council will continue to focus on improving transport and logistics services in the future.
Finally, the Honorable Minister, Ms. Dagmawit Moges, called on the Council to play its role in the transport and logistics sector to make the service more efficient and effective.
