President of the Association, Zerihun Sheleme, told reporters at the InterContinental Hotel on December 26, 2014 that the association is preparing to celebrate its 15th anniversary with various events in March.
The association was established in March 2012 in Arada sub-city of Addis Ababa with a capital of 15,600 birr and currently has 62,522 members.
Zerihun Sheleme, President of the Fiscal Savings and Credit Cooperative, said it is fulfilling its social responsibility and will continue to strengthen it.
He said the institute has opened 10 branches in Addis Ababa and 4 different branches in Oromia.
In addition to Ethiopia, the institute is a board member of the International Cooperation Organization and the African Savings and Credit Cooperative Confederation.
