The $ 400 million project will be donated to China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CCCC). The 60-story, 9,763-square-meter building, to be built in the Mexican area of Addis Ababa. The huge building, to be built on the so-called ‘Financial District’ road, is expected to help the bank grow to a higher level.
Registration of community health insurance service by Dire Dawa administration will take place from December 15 to February 30, 2014.
The Ethiopian Health Insurance Agency is working to implement the regulation in accordance with the authority of Article 9 of the Council of Ministers Regulation No. 191/2003 to implement the social health insurance system.
To implement this regulation, the Dire Dawa administration has launched a community health insurance program to ensure equity and access to health services.
The Health Bureau of the Administration has discussed with stakeholders on how to make the registration and renovation work more effective.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor of the Administration, Kedir Juhar, said the administration has been working hard from December 15 to February 30 to ensure the health insurance coverage of the administration. He called on health professionals as well as stakeholders and religious institutions to do their part.
Harbi Buh, Deputy Mayor of the Administration and Chairperson of the Board of Health Insurance, conveyed the message to the participants of the forum that we should all do our part as we are expected to benefit from the health service.
The head of the health bureau, Lena Bezabh, on her part said that there are 21,000 members in Dire Dawa, one of the best performing regions in the 2013 Ethiopian budget year.
The official added that the registration and renewal process is only from December 15 to February 30, adding that there is no registration or renewal of those who come out of this date and called on them to register before the deadline.
