It was decided to make Teka the capital of Sheka Zone

In an emergency meeting held by the Sheka Zone Council on October 27, 2014, it was unanimously decided to make the zone the capital of the zone.

The House of Peoples’ Representatives unanimously approved the transfer of the zonal capital from Masha, the capital of the zone, to Tepe town to improve efficiency and service delivery.

According to Article 81, Sub-Article 2 of the amended SNNPR Constitution, zonal councils are the dominant political power in the zone. It is reported that a unanimous decision was made to move the city.

Grade 12 national examination begins in Gambella region

Bisrat Radio has learned from Dima Woreda Press Secretariat that the 12th grade national examination has been started today at Dima High School in Dima Woreda, Anuwa Sub-Zone, Gambella State.

Mohamed Jibril, head of the exam department at Dima Woreda Education Office, said that 67 regular examinations taking place in the 12th grade exams in the woreda are 17 students and a total of 84 students have been given adequate orientation.
