Ethio Telecom has launched a next generation business support system that can handle 80 million customers.

Addis Ababa: August 30, 2014 Ethio-Telecom has implemented the next generation Business Support System (NGBSS) that has a capacity of 80 million customers.

Speaking on the launch of the new technology, Ethio-Telecom’s Chief Information Officer, Nella Asrat, said, “The system will easily connect the telecom service provider to the customer.”

He said Ethiotelecom has been able to implement the technology due to the lack of infrastructure, the need for digital transformation, declining quality of service and the company being competitive.
