Ethiopian Motor Sports Association holds first round car race in Addis Ababa.

The competition is divided into four categories with 12 contestants from 1000 cc, six from 1,300 cc and 10 from 1000 and 2000 cc.

Winners receive medals, trophies, and cash prizes.

Accordingly, Luca Mibalides won the trophy and the 5,000 birr prize for 1000 cc.

In the 1,300 CC, the first place was awarded 5,000 birr and the trophy, the second place was won by Goytom Alemayehu, 3,000 birr and trophy, and the third place was awarded to the Nile.

In the 1600s, Emilie Graph won first place with 5,000 birr and a trophy, followed by second place went to Robel Getachew with 3,000 and third place went to Banda Amare, 2,000 birr and a trophy.

According to information received from the Sports Commission, Dawit Teshome, Abebe Getachew and Binyam Zerihun were awarded 5,000, 3,000 and 2,000 birr each.

A consultative forum is underway in Arba Minch to ensure that job opportunities created in the tourism sector are not affected by pandemic.

Leaders of the two institutions, Nigusu Tilahun and Sileshi Girma, as well as former Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn, attended the forum organized by the FDRE Job Creation Commission and Tourism Ethiopia.

It was agreed that the government, actors, partners and the private sector should work together to ensure that the jobs created by the sector do not fade.

The forum provided training on tourism professionalism and ethics, and selected federal, southern, Oromia and Sidama tour guides participated in the training.

According to Sileshi Girma, Director General of Tourism Ethiopia, the training has already been given in Bahir Dar and will continue in other places in the future.
