A contract has been signed in Bahir Dar for the construction of a sewage treatment plant for federal industrial parks in Amhara State. The construction of a sewage treatment plant in Debre Berhan and Bahir Dar Industrial Parks will be funded by the Ethiopian government at a cost of 662 million 763 thousand 210 birr. The contractors are said to have a technical expertise and economic potential in the construction of a sewage treatment plant. The construction of the projects is expected to be completed within eight months, according to an agreement between the Industrial Parks Development Corporation and the construction contractors. An agreement will be reached in 10 days to build a sewage treatment plant at Kombolcha Industrial Park, he said.
