The President of the Ethiopian Athletics Federation, Commander Derartu Tulu, has arrived in Arba Minch for an official visit.

The president said the visit will provide necessary support to the city of Arba Minch in athletics.

Arba Minch was joined by more than 44 delegates, including the President of the Athletics Federation.

The head of the federation’s office, Billign Mekoya, said various athletics projects, training centers and tourist destinations will be visited.

The Secretary General of the Council of Religious Institutions, Kesis Tagay Tadele, told ENA that a delegation consisting of patriarchs, elders and councilors has been sent to Tigray State to discuss and support the current situation.

It is learned that a three-day conference of Ethiopian Religious Institutions (ECRI) is headed to Mekelle, Tigray State.
