On behalf of the Ethiopian people, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed thanked the leaders of the African Union (AU) for agreeing to hold the AU Summit in Addis Ababa.
The Prime Minister’s message on the matter is as follows:
My dear African brothers and sisters,
On behalf of the Ethiopian people, I thank the leaders of the African Union (AU) for agreeing to hold the AU Summit in Addis Ababa at this crucial time when we need to strengthen our African fraternity more than ever.
