The Code 2 plate number is still in short supply.
It is to be recalled that the Authority has been providing board service to its branch offices since November 17 to alleviate the recent shortage of board.
Currently, board printing work has been delegated to the Public Service Transport Enterprise. According to the Authority’s Deputy General Manager, Vehicle Sector, Mr. David Zeleke told Bisrat Radio in particular.
However, he said the board provided is limited compared to the needs of the customers and we are still facing a shortage of boards in terms of the number of service seekers.
The shortage was mainly due to a number of product errors, such as the fact that the front and back were considered separate plates when the manufacturer sent them.
In particular, users are urged to wait patiently, knowing that code 2A is still lacking in all branches.
He said work is underway to resolve the shortage of board in the coming days.
Addis Ababa Driver Licensing and Regulatory Authority
The Addis Ababa Driver Licensing and Supervision Authority said it has collected over 737 million birr in the last five months of the current budget year.
He said it has planned to collect 875 million birr revenue in the 2014 Ethiopian budget year and has achieved 73 percent of the plan by collecting 733 million 875,559 birr revenue in the last five months alone.
