A Geez language school is to be established in Addis Ababa.
A foundation stone has been laid for the construction of a Geez language school in the courtyard of Abune Aregawi Church, commonly known as Lambert in Addis Ababa. This is nice.
The founder of the school, Ibabe Adane, said the school is expected to be completed next year and start teaching and learning in 2015.
He said Geez is the language of Ethiopians.
Speaking at the forum, Taye Bogale, a teacher and writer who is well known for his literature and teaching, said Geez is not only an orthodox Tewahedo religion but for all Ethiopians and should be explored.
The school will be built on a total area of 53,000 square meters and will cover everything from kindergarten to prefabrication, said architect Ephraim.
