Manto Agricultural Inputs Industry donates agricultural inputs to 250 urban farmers in Addis Ababa.
Deputy Mayor, Adanech Abebe, has officially inaugurated the Manto Agricultural Input Industry Factory, built with a capital of 550 million birr.
Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abebe, who was present at the event, said the agricultural sector needs to be modernized and mechanized for the transition to industry.
He said the city administration will provide the necessary support to the factory to expand modern agriculture by supporting agricultural inputs such as Manto.
Adanech Abebe, who donated agricultural equipment to 250 farmers in the city, said the industry is a good example for other industries.
Manto Agricultural Inputs Manufacturing Industry General Manager, Abrar Murad, said the project will enable farmers to save their labor and produce agricultural equipment.
He said the factory is operational with a capital of 550 million birr and will create job opportunities for more than 450 youths.
