Almaz Derese, a 10th grade national examiner at the Abdi Boru Examination Center in Metu, Oromia State, arrived at the hospital where she gave birth at 1:30 this morning.
The student said that she was preparing for the exam, but she asked that she should take the exam even if she gave birth on the day of the test.
The student’s request was accepted by the relevant body, and she underwent the necessary tests to be tested at Carl Hospital, where she gave birth.
“It was difficult to meet my birth date and test date,” she says, “but I did not want to miss it because I was prepared for the test.”
The zonal education office also said that she was happy that the girl was given the necessary support to be tested at the Methu Carl Referral Hospital where the young woman was sleeping.
The young woman is also taking the exams at the hospital with the support of the hospital’s health professionals and the test staff assigned to the job.
