AddisGo is looking for qualified professionals that will enable the site better serve its important visitors.
ADDISGO.COM IS HIRING
We Are Building Something Serious. If You Are Too, Keep Reading.
AddisGo.com is growing, but not in the usual way.
We are not chasing traffic for the sake of numbers. We are not publishing content just to stay visible. And we are definitely not trying to sound like every other tech platform out there.
Most tech content today has a problem. It is either too shallow to be useful or too theoretical to be applied. In many cases, it is written by people who have never worked in a real environment.
We are building AddisGo.com to be different.
This platform is being shaped around real-world experience. The kind that comes from running systems, dealing with outages, managing security incidents, and making decisions that actually have consequences. Our focus is on cybersecurity, telecom, cloud infrastructure, and practical technology.
We want content and services that reflect what professionals actually deal with, not just what sounds good on paper.
That is where you come in.
We are hiring people who want to do meaningful work. Not just complete tasks, but build something that people trust.
OPEN POSITIONS
We are currently hiring for the following roles:
- Cybersecurity Content Lead
- Technical Writer / Content Creator
- Digital Marketing and SEO Specialist
- Business Development Manager (Tech Partnerships)
- Video Content Creator
- Community and Platform Manager
- Cybersecurity Consultant (Part-Time or Contract)
You do not need to apply for more than one role. Apply for the one where you know you can contribute.
CYBERSECURITY CONTENT LEAD
This is not a writing role in the traditional sense. It is a leadership role.
You will define how AddisGo.com speaks about cybersecurity. That includes what we cover, how deep we go, and how we maintain credibility.
We are not interested in recycled topics. We are interested in content that reflects real environments. Think SOC operations, SIEM tuning, firewall management, threat detection, incident response, and cloud security that actually works in production.
If you have worked in security operations, you already know the gap between theory and reality. Your job here is to close that gap through content.
You will write, review, and guide others. You will challenge weak content. You will make sure what goes out under our name is accurate and worth reading.
There will be pressure in this role. Not in a negative way, but in the expectation that quality is non-negotiable.
TECHNICAL WRITER / CONTENT CREATOR
If you enjoy breaking down complex ideas and making them understandable, this role is for you.
You will be writing about topics that people actually care about. Not just definitions, but how things work, why they fail, and how to fix them.
For example, instead of just explaining what a SIEM is, you might write about why SIEM deployments fail in real environments. Instead of defining cloud security, you might explain common mistakes teams make when moving to the cloud.
You do not need to know everything on day one. But you need to be willing to learn, research properly, and improve your work.
We will notice the difference between someone who writes to fill space and someone who writes to teach. We are looking for the second type.
DIGITAL MARKETING AND SEO SPECIALIST
This role is about growth, but not fake growth.
We are not interested in clickbait or empty traffic. We want the right audience. People who read, engage, and come back.
You will be responsible for making that happen.
You will look at search trends, optimize content, manage distribution, and analyze performance. You should be comfortable working with tools, but more importantly, you should be comfortable making decisions based on data.
If something is not working, you adjust. If something is working, you double down.
You will work closely with the content team, which means you need to understand both marketing and the content itself.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (TECH PARTNERSHIPS)
At some point, good work attracts attention. This role is about turning that attention into real opportunities.
You will engage with cybersecurity vendors, cloud providers, telecom companies, and other organizations that see value in what we are building.
This is not just about selling ad space. It is about building partnerships that make sense.
For example, working with a security vendor to run a technical webinar that actually teaches something. Or creating sponsored content that is still useful, not just promotional.
You need to be comfortable starting conversations, presenting ideas, and closing deals. At the same time, you need to protect the integrity of the platform. Not every deal is a good deal.
VIDEO CONTENT CREATOR
Attention is shifting, and video is part of that.
We want to explain technical topics in a way that people can watch, not just read.
You will create videos that are clear, engaging, and useful. This could be short explainers, deep dives, or even breakdowns of real scenarios.
You do not need a studio setup. But you do need to understand how to hold attention and communicate clearly.
If you can take a topic like firewall misconfiguration or phishing attacks and make it understandable in a few minutes, you are a good fit.
COMMUNITY AND PLATFORM MANAGER
A platform becomes valuable when people trust it enough to engage.
You will be responsible for managing that engagement.
This includes responding to users, handling discussions, and helping build a professional community around AddisGo.com.
You will also support webinars and other interactive sessions.
This role is not about posting for the sake of posting. It is about building real interaction.
CYBERSECURITY CONSULTANT (PART-TIME OR CONTRACT)
We are also working with organizations directly.
If you have experience in security assessments, architecture reviews, or advisory work, we would like to hear from you.
This role is flexible. You can contribute based on your availability.
We are particularly interested in people who have worked in environments where decisions have real impact.
HOW WE WORK
We are direct.
We care about output, not appearances. If the work is good, that is what matters. If it is not, we fix it.
You will not be micromanaged, but you will be expected to take responsibility.
We do not move fast just to say we are moving fast. We move with intention. That means sometimes we take more time to get things right.
There will be feedback. Sometimes very direct feedback. That is part of building something that lasts.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
This is not for everyone.
You should apply if you:
- Care about doing work properly, even when it takes effort
- Are comfortable being accountable for your output
- Want to build something, not just maintain something
- Can handle honest feedback and improve from it
- Are interested in technology beyond surface level
If you are looking for something easy or routine, this will not be a good fit.
If you are looking for something meaningful, it might be.
WHAT YOU GET
- A chance to be part of something early and shape it
- Exposure to real industry topics, not just theory
- Work that people actually read and use
- A team that values contribution over titles
- Growth based on what you deliver
Compensation will be discussed based on your role and experience.
HOW TO APPLY
Send your application to:
opleseatm@gmail.com
hrad@addisgo.com
Include:
- Your CV
- An application letter
- Samples of your work if applicable
Clearly state the role you are applying for.
FINAL WORD
AddisGo.com is being built for the long term.
Not for quick attention. Not for trends.
For credibility.
If that matters to you, apply.
If not, that is completely fine. This is not meant for everyone.
We will review applications carefully and contact shortlisted candidates.
Take your time. Apply properly.
We will notice.
