Ruhama and Habtamu Reunion

Habtamu has helped Ruhama by donating his kidney when she needed it to survive! Later they fell in love and got married but after a while they were separated and they became famous. They are even guests on Seifu show.

Now the two have solved their differences and started living together. They were once again guests on Seifu show and this is their interview.

The transplant team consists of highly trained Ethiopian surgeons, nephrologists, and multidisciplinary support staff who ensure comprehensive care throughout the treatment journey.

Besides St. Paul’s, some other hospitals in Addis Ababa provide dialysis and nephrology services that support patients before and after transplant procedures. These include centers like the International Cardiac and Medical Center, which offers dialysis and related nephrology care, although kidney transplant surgery is mainly concentrated at SPHMMC due to its specialized infrastructure and expertise.

Kidney transplantation in Ethiopia is a hopeful alternative for patients suffering from renal failure, offering a chance for restored kidney function, reduced dialysis dependency, and a better overall quality of life.
