The information that taxis providing services to students have been banned is false – City Transport Bureau.
The Addis Ababa City Transport Bureau said that the information circulating that taxis providing services to students in the capital have been blocked is not true.
In a statement, the bureau said:
Unauthorized taxis are also negatively affecting student services, the statement said.
It is further stated that the direction of the solution will be evaluated and detailed information will be provided regarding the transportation shortage.
According to information obtained from the press office of the city administration, the bureau has called on the licensed taxis to continue their services until a new directive is issued regarding student services.
