State Heads of State announced that they are working on a plan to respond to public inquiries

 

Addis Ababa: The Heads of State of South and Southwest Ethiopia have announced that they are working on short, medium and long term plans to address the issues raised by the people.

 

Chief Executive of the Southern Nations, Nationalities and People's Region (SNNPR), Erstu Yirdaw, and Deputy Chief of the South West Ethiopian People's Regional State, Dr. Eng.

 

Eustu Yirdaw said the people of the region raised many similar questions during the talks, but in particular, infrastructure, good governance, economic, social and peace, security, rule of law and job creation are the main issues that have been raised.

 

Dr. Negash Wagesho, Deputy Chief of the South West State of Ethiopia, on his part said road infrastructure, bridge construction, cost of living and good governance, as well as peace and security are among the issues that need to be addressed in the region.

 

He said the leaders are working to identify the problems and solve them in the short, medium and long term.

 

He also said that they are carrying out integrated activities from the backyard to the fields to prevent the cost of living.

 

He also said that they are working with the concerned bodies to complete the completed infrastructure and are finalizing the delayed projects that need to be completed within the state capacity.
