The first phase of the #Negadras_Business_Innovation_Competition concluded today with a grand closing ceremony broadcast live on ITV news and entertainment channels as well as Facebook, Telegram and YouTube.

The finals of the first phase were presided over by the trade judges Mr. Bijay Naiker, Mr. Tsedke Yehune, Mr. Getu Kebede, Hawlet Ahmed and Phutsoom Ngusaye.

In the closing competition of this first phase, Yohannes Woldekidan won 1st among the 5 finalists and won a prize of 1 million birr and the Negadras trophy.

Egzeriyalu Ayele and Abdiwaq Bekele, who came 2nd and 3rd in the finals of the first phase, received their prizes of 500 thousand birr and 300 thousand birr respectively.

Thus, the three winners of the first phase of Negaras job competition received a total of 1.8 million birr.

Mrs. Habiba Faris, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ABC, who gave a closing speech at the ceremony, said that the main purpose of Negadras is to bring citizens with new and problem-solving business creation ideas to the stage and enable them to contribute to the country by linking them with various institutions.

In this regard, ABC has done a successful job in the first phase of the Business Entrepreneurship Competition.

The deputy chief executive said that Ethiopia has many young people with problem-solving business ideas. He said that ABC will continue to work intensively with various institutions in the next phase to turn these ideas into action.

"Ideas are sold, ideas are bought," said the head. Young people with innovative and problem-solving ideas should use the opportunity provided by ABC to sell their ideas. Institutions are also invited to buy these ideas.

The deputy chief executive congratulated the winners and participants of the competition. He thanked the Development Bank of Ethiopia, which is ABC's main partner in the Negadras business creation competition.

He also thanked the judges of the competition who contributed greatly by sharing their knowledge and time.
