The final of the CECAFA under-17 football tournament will be held today

 Somalia and South Sudan will play their finals of the Council of East and Central African Football Associations (Cecafa) under-17 football tournament today.

The tournament, which has been held in Ethiopia's Abebe Bikila Stadium since September 23, 2015, will come to an end today.

Somalia and South Sudan will compete to win the trophy at 9:00 p.m.

In the semi-finals, Somalia beat Uganda and South Sudan and Tanzania to advance to the finals.

Before the final, Uganda and Tanzania will play their qualifying match at 6:00 p.m.

Somalia and South Sudan will represent the CECAFA zone and participate in the African Under-17 Football Tournament hosted by Algeria in March 2015.

Although 10 countries are expected to participate in the CECAFA competition, it is to be remembered that Rwanda, Eritrea, Sudan and Djibouti are out of the competition for various reasons.
